When the Bursar's Department at the University of Pittsburgh
considered an update to their student accounts system, they
talked to Lord's for solutions. Within a month, a plan to
fully digitize all records was approved. Lord's installed a Kodak scanning system to input the historical documents and Imscan software to manage the data. Lord's also coordinated the needed mainframe tie-ins and technical training for University data input and system operators. Today, the University enjoys a completely digital system that efficiently manages all student records and transactions. Data and reports are now available on a secure internal network with automated web-based posting of certain student account information.
