Case Study: Allegheny County Recorder of Deeds

Valerie McDonald Roberts, the Recorder of Deeds of Allegheny County, needed for a better method of printing microfilm records of deeds, mortgages, satisfactions, powers of attorney, and releases.  The County wanted to provide their patrons with the best possible prints and the ability to eventually make their documents available through internet, email or fax.  Lord's International/Kodak has the solution to meet their needs.

An outdated bi-modal reader printer could not give the Allegheny County Recorder of Deeds the flexibility they now have with the Kodak Model 2400 Reader Scanner.  The 2400 scans the microfilm, digitizes it, enhances it for the best quality then it enables them to move the image on the internet.  They can bridge the gap from traditional microfilm and enter the 21st Century.
