Lord’s International is chosen to “Preserve the Legacy” of the Pittsburgh Steelers 2007 marks the 75th season of The Pittsburgh Steelers. Pittsburgh based Lords' International is honored to be selected to “PRESERVE THE LEGACY” of priceless photos and documents from the inception of the organization in 1933, to the present. Lord's, an Authorized Reseller of KODAK Digital Archive Services, provides document scanning and software that will allow for immediate accessibility of items that were previously not available electronically. Additionally, Lord's will have the responsibility of providing security for all images via KODAK Archive Services, which will have storage redundancy in four locations in the U.S. and abroad. The DHS (largest department in Allegheny County and one of the largest in the state of PA) has contracted with Lord's International to provide information and document management for their department. Services include backlog scanning and indexing of millions of documents, content management software and workflow for various agencies within the department including: Aging, Children Youth & Family, MATP (Medical Assistance Transportation Program) and various others.
Duquesne University Law School has contracted with Lord's International to provide scanning and software. Lord's International will have the responsibility of scanning student records from 1911 to present. Lord's International's software will allow for easy retrieval and cross indexing which was not previously available.
When Denny DeSantis, Vice Chancellor, was looking for a solution to better control the overflowing records in his department he partnered with Lord's International to scan, index and provide their software to manage their workflow.
Valerie McDonald Roberts, the Recorder of Deeds of Allegheny County, was looking for a better method of printing microfilm records of Deeds, Mortgages, Satisfactions, Powers of Attorney, and Releases. Allegheny County Recorder of Deeds wanted to provide their patrons with the best possible prints and the ability to eventually make their documents available through Internet, E-mail or Fax. When Eileen Schiller, supervisor for the Department of Finance, was looking for a solution to scan city tax documents she turned to Lord's International. We provided them with an Eastman Kodak 600 series scanner that gives high speed throughput of their documents. It was imperative for this department to have a reliable unit that could scan at a high rate speed while providing Kodak's "Perfect Page" feature thus eliminating any skewed documents. Weinstein Chiropractic Weinstein Chiropractic moved to their new and improved facility and purchased an entire new x-ray room (including camera, generator, and processor) from Lord's International. Greater Pittsburgh Orthopedic Association Lord's provides hardware (x-ray equipment and processors), supplies (x-ray film, cassettes, jackets) and service to all seven locations. We recently installed a new x-ray room in their Brackenrige office. Additionally, we recently installed a processorin their Moon Twp. and Sewickley office.
